Hardware Repairing defect console / RCM Works / No SD Card

I have a defect switch console which does not boot any more - maybe someone have some knowledge what might be the defect.

-- when powering on the Nintendo Logo appears - after that black screen
-- Maintenance Mode does not work
-- RCM mode works (Biskeydump / Hetake works)

in Hetake no SD card is recognized (fat32 2 different cards)

-> Assuming SD Card reader has a defect, but in that case I'd assume that normal boot should work.
ANy experiences with that ?

If sd card slot is the problem, you can easily replace it by purchasing a replacement and installing. No soldering, it just uses a ribbon connection.

Maybe load up hekate, do a nand backup, and run the nand through hacdisktool to see if all things are accounted for.

but backup without SD card is quite hard
Will check for the replacement - hope it will work after that...

Faulty sd card reader may prevent switch from booting, try taking card reader module out and it should boot.
