You are using an old version of rxTools. rxTools.dat hasn't been used in months.I have RXtols woking... Kinda. It works if i delete RXtools.dat and put a new one there and then it boots and fails to install everything, but still boots the menu.
I click "Boot EmuNAND" and it looks like it restarting but it just hangs on a black screen?
Halp
CFWs have lower boot rates when run via menuhax, lower still on an old3DS.I'm using rxTools_2015-12-05_08.48-a08cfdd with ctrboot on a 9.2 o3ds and I installed the agb firm patch cia over the existing one in emunand. I then installed games to both sys and emunand. They run fine but now rxtools boots 3/10 times. Did I mess up?
I believe that guide is considerably out of date unfortunately, and author doesn't seem interested in keeping it up to date.If anyone needs a tutorial on how to set it up i found this one the best: https://docs.google.com/document/d/...Ymjp5Cq2LxfQ9cDr0/mobilebasic?pli=1#h.1y810tw
I'd suggest FreeMultiPatcher, over NTR, unless you're using all of NTR's features.Any chance of region checks being patched out as an included feature? Currently using NTR for this (legit out-of-region cartridges)
Sounds like your sysNand and emuNand are link. Unlinking them should fix the issue.Anyone help me? When I boot rxtools using the menuhax with type 1 (no button needed) It just loop to homemenuhax then rxtool photo, then homemenuhax again.
but when i choose the type 0 (hold L) it's working, i dont know what to do with this. Any help would be greatly appreciated, THANK YOU!
Thanks, but why will you use FMP If rxTools has regionfree anyway, and HANS for eShop spoof? And i never had a problem loading rxTools using homemenuhax+autoboot with ctrbootmanager did not see a difference in success rates in 9.2 E o3DS downgraded from 10.3.CFWs have lower boot rates when run via menuhax, lower still on an old3DS.

That said, it's tricky to maintain it when things are still in a state of flux.

Why? It says i need it and this is from maybe 5 days ago?You are using an old version of rxTools. rxTools.dat hasn't been used in months.
Nice, just tried it, well I don't see a difference but newer will probably also mean some bugfixes... your build works fine for meHere's a compiled version of a nightly from Jan 3 (rxTools_2016-01-03.895bf35).
Tested on my O3DS with emuNAND RX-E 10.3.0-28U

Note: The very latest one (Merge pull request #336 from 173210/master AlbertoSONIC committed a day ago 16ac215) does NOT work. I got a blackscreen (tried twice to install it).
Edit: Disregard this, I edited my post above :

I was gonna upload the latest commit (rxTools_2016-01-08.0222988), but AlbertoSONIC keeps updating it.
Unlike 16ac215, 0222988 actually worked.
I'll wait a few hours...
