[Release] HiyaCFW - World's FIRST Nintendo DSi CFW!

Here it is, the first DSi CFW!

Video by Alex S (with TWiLight Menu++ (previously known as DSiMenu++ and SRLoader) installed):

Video by @Apache Thunder (When RocketLauncher was planned for a release. With WarioWare Touched (DSiWare version) installed.):

(NOTE: Since hiyaCFW has been released a few days ago (as of posting this), and no official thread has been made, I decided to go and make it, despite not making the actual patches for it. :P )

With this CFW, you can run custom DSiWare, alongside region free and 3DS-exclusive DSiWare (WarioWare Touched), on your SD card, via NAND to SD redirection!
You can also run blocked flashcards (such as R4 Ultra).

FAQs

Q: Can I use a custom splash for hiyaCFW?
A: Yes you can. Place it at "sd:/hiya/" and name them "splashtop.bmp" and "splashbottom.bmp". Make sure they're actually saved as .bmp files, with the size of 256x192, with no color space info, and is 16-bit (A1 R5 G5 B5, or X1 R5 G5 B5). .gif files will also work instead of .bmp files.

Well, first try didn't work.
Finishing the HiyaCFW installation, when copying from the "for 2GB (or lower) SD card (SDNAND)" folder to the SD, the "title.tmd" in title>00030017>484e4145>content requested me to replace it with the "for 2GB (or lower) SD card (SDNAND)" version of it, I did it and froze on the settings screen of HiyaCFW.
I'm redumping the NAND contents to try with the original "title.tmd".

EDIT: Nope, still doesn't work. Any help?
I'm freezing on the splash screen.

I just ignored all the 2GB SD card BS and just used my 16GB the whole time. No issues.

Great work!

I have a hardmodded EUR DSi which I can interface with a SD card reader. Since I modified it, I downgraded system menu (to unblock old flashcards) and installed some DSiWares, just for testing purposes. What to do you recommend me to do? Is it better to start with a clean NAND? Also, since I have NAND access (and my DSi is european, hence cannot be softmodded via ugopwn), which steps should I avoid and which extra steps must I take into account?

I get a white screen (the wireless light doesn't turn on either) immediately after the settings screen. What have I done wrong?

Glad this got an official post.
It looks like https://www.dsiguide.me doesn't have the HiyaCFW helper portion added yet, will have to work on that. Kind of annoying that cfw guide has ads on it...
if it bothers you, you can turn on adblocker
they're only there because those domains are expensive and don't pay for themselves
besides there's literally only an ad at the top and bottom of the page, nothing intrusive

I'm satisfied. Would like to change the splash screen, but I don't know where to put the bitmap.

From Github:
"You can now use a custom a custom splash screen! (Only for top screen, for now.)
Place it at sd:/hiya/ and name it splashtop.bmp. Make sure it's actually saved as a .bmp file, with no color space info, and is 16-bit (A1 R5 G5 B5)."
