Actually, B9S is installed into the FIRM partitions, so if you mess with those you can fuck with your console. It takes advantage of bootrom bugs though.Edited my post right before you posted. B9s is installed to the bootrom, which no matter what you do, you cannot write to it no matter what you do. You would have to physically design a program that installed junk to the bootrom to keep it from booting. For all intents and purposes, you basically have a hardmod. As long as you backup your nand every once and a while, you can restore it with godmode9.
