How hard would it be to add a check to see if an item is already downloaded locally, inside the listings?
It would also be nice to add filters to the main window.

I'm sure it would be relatively easy for someone who knows a bit of Java.
Seems like the C# version is a ways behind......I tried compiling it but was hit with a whole slew of compiler errors in VS 2016.
I'd like to see this app have a few more commits to approach Wii U Usb Helper levels. That app is fantastic.

Unless there is already a PC program which functions like this and I don't know about it.

Thanks for posting the latest stuff to GIT. Its a wonderful program.

Well It would be an easy thing to check if a title has been already downloaded.
The C# version isn't capable to download anything. Those compiler errros you had can be easily fixed be redownloading the necessary NuGet Packages in the NuGet Package Manager.
Since I don't continue developing CDN-FX, new things won't be added. Therefore a version like the WiiU Usb Helper won't be developed, except someone else want to continue this project.

I didn't mean any disprect if it came off like that (rereading my post it kinda seemed like it could be interpreted that way)

Its a fantastic app. Love it.
I might take a crack at adding the check. I don't know any Java....but I get around C/C++ pretty okay.
Thanks for the tip on C#. I'll give that a shot just to play around a bit.

I thought there already was a check to see if an item was locally downloaded? Or was that in an older version? We did have it at some point..

I think I never implemented it. Someone has asked me to add this, but I never did.

Due to the new CDN restriction by Nintendo the download link has been removed, since this program is pretty much useless now.
If you want to use it anyway, you have to build it from the source.

Thank you for using CDN-FX

Program still works fine..
Restriction by Nintendo is for a few titles.. and stuff like dlc is not affected at all.

Why is it that we can use cdnsp, freeshopNX, NSPower and other download era for the switch, yet the 3DS freedom and clone is instantly dead after a server upgrade?

Because Nintendo hasn't restricted downloads for Switch CDN yet, but they will soon. Probably testing it out on 3DS first.

anyone here know how to use METEO?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    It's very simple.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Meteo is like an AVI-to-GBA converter. Just drag-and-drop your AVI file in, and then convert.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, like those gba carts that have movies and tv episodes in them?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
But Nintendo's GBA video format is different, being that it uses a custom ROM and chipset for rendering, for like the Shrek and Shark Tale titles. Been undumpable for years and years.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Meteo uses it's own player.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, those roms are dumped currently, right?

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Although it's kinda pointless to download them anyway since you get the movies in horrible quality
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Yep, they are now, but it took a shit ton of RE'ing.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    RE = reverse engineering
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, can you remind me what reverse engineering meant pls?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Reverse engineering, to put it simply, is to understand how the software or hardware was made.

Lol someone tried using my email to log into Nintendo

@SylverReZ, is that through trial and error sometimes?
