I've been planning on getting a japanese import Pokemon Black DSI (far cheaper than getting a US one, talking about $200-400 vs ~$80 difference) and considering i live in a U region, i'd have to go with imports or get region free working, is the AK2I region free?

It probably is, but I'm just making sure in case

It's supposed to be a region free flashcard. They are relative cheap so you could check it out by yourself.

Okay, now that i have a DSI arriving in the mail, I know that it's set to japanese language only, will that affect the acekard or any games i play? I can't read japanese at all.

It will. The games that rely on the system settings language will be affected.

Pokemon DS Games are region free, because are NDS Titles, not DSi Titles.
So still you can play it in any DS system. i have Japanese PKMN Black with my usa new 3ds, no problem running that game.

He is asking if a japanese pokemon themed dsi works with flashcards, not about the pokemon games.

The DS was always region-free, the DSi added region-locking and DSi-enabled games had the option to apply it to their games.
The AK2i only ran in DS-Mode, so all games will be region-free, even on the DSi

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Booo.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's dumb
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Maybe.
  • Veho @ Veho:
There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.

Usually accidentally overdose of ibuprofen here is from people taking like cold medicine then ibuprofen for a headache and the combination is over what they need
