Hacking rednand/sysnand

ok im having trouble here, been trying to read up on what the difference is, and struggling to figure out, can anyone explain and if they are worth doing, eg do games load faster than sd etc

sysnand cfw is faster than rednand but it has less security and you can't install systemconfigtool on sysnand cfw
