Tales of symphonia 2 has local multiplayer, though only in the battles. As for FPS, I'd say Red steel 1 and Metroid prime 2. Don't know whether the wii version has the local multiplayer or not.

I'd wait a few months to get either Call of Duty: Black Ops, Conduit 2, or Goldeneye007.
They all are going to have splitscreen.

Secret of Mana has coop, Tales in battles, like said earlier.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare also has coop (with 1 actually moving around). I can really recommend all the railshooters, had a lot of fun with those with others. Especially House of the Dead: Overkill. Not sure if you'd count those as FPS though.

@ZeroTM Tried Tales of Symphonia before and didn't really like it, I prefer spectrobes for that type of multiplayer. As for RS and MP2 I liked MP2's multiplayer, but for non fantasy shooters, I like Medal of Honor: Vanguard better.
@fudgenuts64 and SFenton I'll try that game out soon

@WiiThoko I'm actually really excited for those games to come out
@commdante I'm gonna try Secret of Mana, but I'm not really a fan of railshooters

@ChuckBartowski I'll try those game out too, which one of those games did you like best?

I like darkside chronicles quite a bit. They are not very long, so you might end up getting the other anyway. Also, the graphics are quite amazing for a wii game.

Quantum of Solace is a fun split-screen FPS.
It's not split screen though, is it?

Yeah it is. And it's not nearly as bad as people paint it to be, it's just a CoD4 engine with a cover system that works pretty well. I had fun playing it.

I'll go with Chuck and recommend some light gun shooters. House of the Dead: Overkill and Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles are probably the best.

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
