    MH3U Save Editor GUI

    Current version: mh3u-se.v1.3b
    I do not work on this anymore.

    What this Save Editor can do:
    • Sex/Facestyle/Hairstyle/Voicestyle;
    • Money and Mogapoints;
    • Name;
    • Inventory (Blademaster's Inventory);
    • Pouch (Gunner's Inventory);
    • Chest (Items Chest);
    • Box (Equipments Chest);
    • Import/Export savefile obviously.
    Instructions:
    1. Get the save (user1, user2 or user3) from your game using the Save Data Manager app or SVDT app on your 3DS.
    2. Using MH3U Save Editor: Press Load File and select the save you exported.
    3. Select the options you want to change on your save.
    4. Press Save file.
    5. Import your modified save using apps from etape 1.
    6. Enjoy, and report any bugs!

    Save Editor for MH3U:

    Additional librairies (.dll):
    Some screenshots:

    The source code if anyone is interested:

    To Do:
    • Save/Cancel buttons in equipment/item editor;
    • Equipment Type automatic swap (cf NB);
    • Fix blank window if no data found.

    Error?
    If you get an error about a missing file ( libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll ), check the additional libraries link, download and place it next to the executable.

    Nota Bene:

    The app is working on Windows only.
    I'm not a native English speaker. Correct me if I am wrong.
    And if anything goes wrong, just tell me.

    When you change the equipment type, the window won't refresh itself. Don't worry, just close the window it'll reopen itself. It should work fine.

    Disclaimer: I'm not responsible for you losing or corrupting your save by using this app in a way it wasn't intended to. It may contain bugs within the normal intended use. Use it at your own risk. ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP!

    Great stuff

    Perhaps you should rename the .rar file? It's named mh4u-se.v10.rar

    Also, the program doesn't want to run, it says I'm missing libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll from my computer

    The name is related to the app version.

    EDIT (22/09/15): F*CK! I just realized that I typed mh4u instead of mh3u... Sorry, I edited the files...

    Try to add this dll, where you extracted the .rar, next to the .exe.

    Download the v1.0a version. I forgot to import a dll...

    Thanks for the program, I made an account to say thanks. (I've mostly been lurking this site)

    When using this program, I noticed that if I set an item box value to an Azure Dragonsphire, the value changes to something else (I think it changed to a Farcaster) randomly. I'm looking forward to your fix on this / I hope you fix this..

    Thank you so much for this!
    I have a question, what do the first 4 "Unknown" and last 2 "Unknown" attributes do?
    :)

    We don't know, that's why it's unknown.

    Thought the OP would know :P oh well.
    Just tested the first 4 with random values on Mosgharl, the base color of the armor changed to green.

    Yes, I did some research.
    The first is unknow for me.
    The second is for blue.
    The third is for green.
    And the fourth is for red.

    I added the color support for armors in v1.1!

    Nice. :)

    I released the version 1.2.
    Which adds the support of French datasets (values in ComboBoxes).

    I won't RIP the other languages (soooo loong!)...
    If someone wants to RIP data for the app. PM me.

    Thanks for this awesome Tool, but i have some questions:

    1. Do i Need the Tools in step 1? I have the Game Downloaded from the eshop (no cartridge), and Do not want to jailbreak my new3dsXL, so i cant use hombrew apps (i Didnt Even Know Thats possible :D) can i just use the Files on my sd Card or some pc Tool?
    2. Is this also Usable with the savefile of the wiiu Version of the Game?

    The step 1 (and 5) need a homebrew app. (I don't know how to extract save from SD without this.)
    You can install the homebrew menu (HBM) here, it's not a jailbreak like the iPhone.
    The HBM can be removed just by removing the files you added (and the DNS).

    I guess you can transfer save from WiiU to 3DS with the transfer tool. And extract save from there.
    I have no WiiU, so I didn't ask me about this.

    PS: ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP OF SAVEFILE!!

    Launch SDM, wait, press A (Backup), press X (Exit).
    You user1 save can be found in sdmc:/saveDataBackup/
    Make a backup of this file, and modify an other version with the MH3U Save Editor.
    Transfer the modified user1 to sdmc:/saveDataBackup/ (empty the folder before).
    Launch SDM, wait, press B (Import), press X (Exit).
    Your user1 save will be transfered to your cardridge (or whatever).
    I can't help you more...

    Unfortunaly, I tried to intercept the request made by the 3DS. But I failed...
    I can't even know the server name. D:
    So... Sorry.
