I found someone selling his 5.1.1 wii u, quick question if he wants to factory reset console before selling it, does nintendo will screw me and auto-update to 5.5.2 next boot when setting up wifi connection ?

- What are the safest steps in order to get haxchi installed with my future account ?

Hey. He will be asked to connect to the Internet before the factory reset. If he doesn't have have a way of blocking updates it might try to update first then format

Tell him to spoof the wii u to 5.5.2

Wifi is required to format the Wii U.. extremely stupid but so is requiring the gamepad to connect to the internet. Pretty sure it'll force an update to 5.5.2 before he can format it.
