Yeah, make sure the ARK and HDR are in the same folder and you're good to go.

Remember, you can also use just the ISO.

you know, it would be really handy if you released it in the next 2 weeks, because my winter holiday just started.

This raises an interesting point; to use RawkSD you must have downloaded at least one track from the music store. If it's winter where you are, you're obviously not in the US and probably won't have access to the DLC (unless you've region hacked your wii). So unless we can come up with a workaround you might be out of luck until the European version comes out.

I thought the only requirement was having an exploitable version of IOS37 installed other than having already downloaded a free song from rb2's music store.

Weren't you supposed to be... gone?

Anyway, to actually answer the question... System Menu 4.0 isn't an issue, it'll be fine. It's just that if you have a virgin 4.0 Wii, installing it will require you to get a fakesignable IOS on there. Be it with notDVDX, cBoot2, a cIOS, etc.

Please, don't resort to region changing yet... We haven't even checked to see whether we can add it to a EU save or not yet, and besides... Changing region seems drastic, you could always use a blank save instead and sacrifice your characters/band/highscores instead of your Wii Points (ideally we'll make it so that you don't have to worry about anything).

You even commented on morals and laws, so if this isn't the place, why would you bother commenting on it? Are you one of those people who feels you can make a comment about something and then nobody else can respond to that comment, or at least nobody that isn't supporting your comment? It certainly appears so.

I think everyone knows that there are moderators here, and they have no problems whatsoever removing off-topic posts. Need proof? HA! Go have a look at the GHWT DLC Finally Hacked!? thread...I think you'll find plenty of examples. Here's just a few and gee, would you notice who the authors are? Certainly nobody who would be complaining about staying on-topic in this thread, eh?

Bottom line: don't get up on your soap box and start preaching when you can't be bothered to practice what you're preaching yourself. Lest you end up looking like a hypocrite.

I don't know about all the other people that are following this thread, But I sincerly don't care about all this shit. What I care about this thread is custom DLC. Don't make such a big deal on things that aren't.

I'd like to see some screen-capture of how the GUI is with the Importer. I know it's not the game itself, but I'm curious as to how it'll work for transferring to the SD

. I'm pretty excited about what it can do.

We all know RAWK can play the Customs in-game, but how bout some of the fun external part, yes? ;D!

Have you guys figured out the animation data for non-rb songs so they can be played in something other than practice mode.

I myself have figured out most of the drum animations and I do mean most as there are still some stuff that is still confusing.

I would assume that there are some codes that are required or the song will freeze.

Maybe the best way to figure out what is required is to take a rb song and start removing animation data until it freezes, then you know some stuff.

I will mostly be importing songs from RB and the track packs so I can just play one game as I prefer the RB2 engine over the RB1 engine and the track packs seem to be based on the RB1 engine.

I do have several songs that I have the complete score for and really want in rb, although I won't have vocals, at first.


I'm so excited and I just can't hide it.

I prefer to release the exporter of rock band 1 and track packs

If that not is possible, then a video showing all the songs from rb1, rb ac:dc in the menu of Rock Band, and playing a FB of a random song picked by game

(of course of rb1 or rb ac:dc)
