Hello, i have an R4i 3DS Wifi cart as described above.

I needed one to exploit my unmodded 2DS (on 11.17.0-50E) with ntrboot.

I formatted my microSD card as FAT32 GPT and these are the files in the microSD (downlaoded from r4i-sdhc).

The problem is that my R4I won't show up in the 2ds HOME menu (there is no game icon there).
I also tried to use the kernel from retrogramefan and that wouldn't even work.
I even tried to change the date of the system (as i discovered that some carts have a timebomb), but nothing.
I tried to search in the forum and the nearest thread that i found is this:

But i couldn't find the solution there.
And i don't think that ntrboot is already flashed because i tried the X, Start, Select and power keystroke while in sleep mode but there was no SafeB9SInstaller screen.

Any mistakes that i made? Thanks.

MBR is the format needed for the 3ds to recognize the card. Gpt format cards just wont work.
OK, so now i will format it with MBR, then i'll try retrogamefan's kernel.

So i formatted the card as FAT32 MBR and i put the kernel files there.

And i think there is still something wrong that i did.

If it shows a blank icon on the 3DS home screen like that, then the flash card isn't seated correctly in the 3DS or the SD card isn't seated correctly in the flash card either. So just try taking it out and putting it back in to see if it pops up for you.

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
