Hacking R4 works on my DS but not my friends. Help Please!

Hi ya. I've bought 2 r4 cards and put the games on that we want. If i put the r4 cards in my ds, they both read and show the games but if i put them in my friends ds, all we get is the DS start up screen stating there is no game card inserted. I cannot understand it. Anyone that can help shed light on this matter would be a great help. Thanks!!

My friends dstt card works in both ds's!!

Perhaps the R4 isn't getting contact with the pins inside the DS. Most people say you should use some poster board/tape on the R4 sticker side. I think this also has to do with a certain color DS. The newer ones wont have contact.

Yeah I got a Cobalt Blue/Black DS lite and my R4 works PERFECTLY.

what about the memory card? is the memory card inserted?

try your R4 with your TF card in your friend's NDSL.

Maybe your friend's just unlucky, since my R4 is kinda naughty too sometimes, needs around 10 times re-inserting to work.

Try to blow some air to your slot-1, maybe some dust covered the contacts

That's funny: I had the exact same problem with my aunt's NDS, but couldn't figure out why. Let us know if you find a fix.
