Because someone is willing to spend effort on a 3rd party client for that platform (also considering said client needs frequent updates to keep up with Youtube changes)aha ! so why android have '' tubemate '' an app where u can read and download youtube videos ?

It doesn't work that way. You can't just "make" things work, you have to do stuff.Wouldn't be easier to just hack the wad. file and make it work again?
