Hacking Question about sd card update on cfw

Hey,

So I have a switch on 6.0.1 running sx os on emunand. The day I installed the cfw was the day the new ofw came out, so I never got to do the sd card update to allow me to use my 128gb card to play games larger than 4gb.
Now that sx os 2.4 has come out, Id like to know how to go about safely updating so I can get the sd card update as well so I can load any game size on my sd card.
Is it safe to update via official way, or do I have to use choirdujournx, and in that case will the update include the sd card firward update?

Its better to use ChoiDujourNX, SysNAND and/or EmuNAND.
