Eboots yes (at least user mode), but I'm not sure about ISOs, as that's not simply disabling checks, but modifying the system.

AFAIK stuff runs in user mode normally, so think of this like a permanent HBL for now, though it certainly opens up a lot of options.
Can't one make an ISO loader and sign it using the key?

What do PSN eboots contain? Is there any way we could just extract the game data from an ISO and rebuild it into an eboot then sign it?
Perhaps. After all, Sony does it to let Go owners get PSP games through PSN.

However I don't know what's involved in the process to be able to say if we have the tools to do it or not... and most of the people that know aren't going to encourage piracy.

Actually, yes, already. If you use "OpenIdea ISO loader" it rewrites the ISO into an eboot and theoretically you can just sign it using the keys and it could run.

Currently at the moment the only person active in PSP coding i'm inclined to listen to on what this can and can't do is Coldbird. All the other great PSP Dev's are either not interested in the PSP these days or are impossible to talk to in English.

Shame MathieuLH, Hellcat, Freeplay, Davee and co are done with it.

Does this mean the PSP Go and the PSP 3000 will be hacked?
They've been hacked since christmas. Check the FAQ.

I'd say that i personally would have no idea how to actually talk to them on a forum. Coldbird is at least an active and readily accessible coder involved with the current scene. I'd think if i asked him a question i might stand a chance at an answer, whereas sending a PM to a Team or someone scene as part of Team M33 would probably result in nothing.

I don't have any social networking accounts at all, which includes twitter.

And besides via PM you can literally ask ANYTHING!

Coldbird seems a lot more approachable than MathieuLH, and a lot less burnt by the scene.
