You can get an pro duo adapter and use microsd cards. I have a pro duo adapter and have 2 8gb microsd inserted into it. Myself personally have never been into paying then downloading the games. I prefer buying them being able to do what I please with them, like selling them on later.

TBH the Memory Stick Micros are actually really cheap. I can get a 16GB one for around $20-$25; it's like twice that much for a 16GB Pro Duo (at least on Amazon and in USD). People seem to be quite put off by the Micros but they're so much cheaper to buy. On top of the 16GB internal storage, you'll have enough room for pretty much anything.

hm... here in portugal i think that Pro Duo Cards are kinda expensive... so i think that the price of a PSP 3000 + the money for a 16GB Pro Duo would cost more then a PSP go... xD i heard that the PSP Go screen is better then the 3000 that is, better then the 2000 and 1000?

better screen quality? that is a opinion. some people like it , some don't. If you find reading text on the go screen hard, the 3000 would be the better choice.

It is like choosing between the gameboy adv. micro and a gameboy adv. sp on screen quality there. When in reality it is based on real conditions like if your farsighted, the larger screen reguardless of how lower in res or whatever would be the better choice for someone with farsighted vision.

Most credit cards require you to be at least 18 in age to use or have. Might not be the same in your country. If you have amazon gift cards totalling the amount you need, you shouldn't have any problems getting what you want.

As for debit cards, they are treated like credit cards in most cases.

If your unsure as to getting it, I suggest you get your parent to do the purchase.

I'm pretty sure you can buy like VISA gift cards and stuff and use those. Mind you I think you'll need to buy one that's over the amount you want (like if you buy a PSP Go for $110 you'll probably need a $125 card, if they sell one).

I've used my mom's credit card before although nowadays I use my own so I'm not all too familiar with the method I mentioned. But as prowler said, you can use your parent's card.

The PSP Go is $100 used at Gamestop. Add $10 for a 1 year replacement plan (if it breaks or gets bricked you can swap it at the store, no delays or other bull) if desired. I got lucky and the previous owner not only used a screen protector but it came with one of those (fake) black leather cases that you leave it in all the time, even when playing.

I think the PSP Go is the way to go, as all of them so far can be downgraded to 6.20 so you can use 6.20 Permanent (replaces vshmain.prx with the CFW one so it is almost like having M33/Gen/Neur0n CFW). If do do that, be sure to keep vshorig.prx in a safe place! The only catch is that Game Categories Light isn't working for me, but everything else seems to work.

if you're gonna hack it, I say the PSP GO is the way to go.
it comes with 16GB and a 16GB M2 is only about $20 online.

for a PSP, getting that 32GB of memory is still expensive.

PSPgo:
+ Small, light
+ 16GB of space (Saves money on memory cards if you have ChickHEN or whatlever the latest hack is)
+ Sexy design
+ DualShock 3 optional input
- More expensive (By a tad, but you'll save money on memory cards. Negative point if you already have memory cards)
- Need to purchase titles you already own from PSN (Doubt you will cause most of us here are pirates)
- Analog stick in an awkward position
- More uncomfortable to hold (If you have big hands)

PSP3000
+ Best screen IMO
+ Accepts UMD
+ Easier to hack (I think?)
+ More comfortable to hold
- More expensive if you need to buy memory cards
- Scanlines (Bugs many people, but not me)

I just saw in a store here today,
Go - PHP 9,000 (207.58 USD)
3000 - PHP 11,350(253.71 USD)
dunno about the price there but the Go seems cheaper than the 3000 here. but prices seem higher here than there.

Actually, if you get it used then the PSP Go is actually $10 cheaper at Gamestop. The Slim (2000) is $100, the PSP Go is $100, and the 3000 is $110. Also, if you get the PSP Go, the 1 year replacement plan is only $10 extra (worth it in case of a brick, IMHO). Also, all PSP Go systems can be downgraded to 6.20 (with the Permanent patch) while some 3000s can only go down to 6.35 (which means no permanent CFW). So here is a better list.

PSPgo:
+ Small, light
+ 16GB of space (Saves money on memory cards if you have 6.20 Pro)
+ Sexy design
+ DualShock 3 optional input
+ All PSP Go systems can be downgraded to 6.20
+ Can use 6.20 Pro Permanent patch so you don't have to run the CFW/HEN loader each time
+ Permanent patch provides some (semi-)brick protection (about the same as the old 2.71 SE CFW before the Pandora/MMS service mode trick came out)
+ Slightly cheaper if you buy it used
+ Comes with a USB charging cable (AC adapter is actually an AC to USB adapter)
+ Can charge via USB even when the system is off.
- Need to purchase titles you already own from PSN (Unless you pirate or rip your UMDs with another PSP first)
- Analog stick in an awkward position
- More uncomfortable to hold (If you have big hands)
- Uses it's own video cable (doesn't matter if you don't have PSP 2000/3000 video cables)
- Uses M2 Micro memory cards which are more expensive (8GB for $40)
- Can't replace the battery without taking it apart (slightly easier to replace than a DS3/Sixaxis battery though)

PSP3000
+ Larger Screen (Some people think it is better)
+ Accepts UMD
+ More comfortable to hold
+ Uses the same accessories as the PSP 2000 systems (video cables, etc)
+ Can replace the battery yourself.
- Slightly more expensive (if purchased used)
- No internal memory so you will need to buy a memory card (8-16GB are kind of expensive).
- Scanlines (Bugs many people, but not me)
- Some models can only be downgraded to 6.35
- Models that can't be downgraded to 6.20 can't use the permanent patch (so no semi-brick protection) as the permanent patch only works with 6.20 CFW and not 6.35 CFW.

I just want to address these "detractors".

For the first two, I guess it's relative. I have big hands and it's not an issue at all.

For the third one, what? They're like, at most, $20 on Amazon here.

For the fourth one, that's the case with most electronics. It was just an exception on the PSP 1000/2000/3000. I wouldn't really say it's a bad point unless the battery craps out easily (like my 1000 battery can barely hold a charge nowadays).
