Hacking psp 1000 stuck in lock/hold mode

i've had this problem for a long time. my psp is stuck in hold mode, and only unholds when its charging. basically turning my psp into a tiny console. anyone know how to fix something like this? any hackers know how to disable hold mode completely?

i'm running 6.39 PRO-B8 and my model is 01g
