Hello.
I found an old psp 1000 with no battery. I have the charger but the PSP doesn't turn on and neither does the power LED.
The model board is TA-081.
I tested with a multimeter and I have 5v on the power connector.
I tested the power button and when it is activated, the multimeter detects continuity.
I also tried the power LED, if I supply voltage it blinks.
I also tested the fuses and they are fine:
F6001 - 2.5A
F1001-1A
F4501 -0.5A
Also I applied 3.5-4.5v to the battery connectors and it didn't turn on, or power LED show light.
Does anyone know what could be wrong?

Solved. It was the charger. I tried a new one, and works fine.
Strange, because the output was 5v.
