So, I use a PS4 controller for my PS3, synced it up via bluetooth and such. It can turn on the console via the PS button just fine, but then the light bar on the controller blanks out and then I have to hold the PS Button until it stops blinking and turns solid.

This normally does the trick. However, after doing so sometimes, it doesn't register any input on screen. This doesn't happen all the time, but frequent enough that it gets annoying, and I have to plug it in via usb and resync the controller under accessory options.

Is this a common issue among PS4 controllers being used on the PS3 upon boot? I'd appreciate any of your insight on this, thanks.
