From psx-scene.com:

Modrobert is reporting on his
site http://EurAsia.nu that the
Slim Blu-Ray drive firmware has
been successfully dumped by the
Calimba/HadesTeam over at
DemonHades.org

So what do you guys think?i think this will only bring backup loader but no homebrew.so i am not very excited as i don't care about backup loaders,i want homebrew.

Oh finally.

Heh, it's strange seeing JungleFlasher detecting a blu-ray drive!

This might lead to some flashed firmwares, but I fear they'd still be economically nonviable as a mean of mass piracy because of the high cost of the blank BD-R.

We'll see.

i read somewhere that br-drive firmware has been dumped before but that project didn't go very far because of the difficulty to find some key or something in the phat br-drive which had 48 pin something contrary to 8 pin in slim models
