Having a bit of trouble creating clean rips of my games. I'm ripping them all using USB Loader GX 3.0 on the Wii to an external WBFS drive. I then pull the games off the drive as .wbfs files to my PC using Wii Backup Manager 0.4.5 x64.

However, every rip I've done thus far has come back with errors when verified within wit. Here is the output from a check of a selected portion of my games:

Code:
***** wit: Wiimms ISO Tool v2.10a r4118 cygwin - Dirk Clemens - 2012-10-10 *****
!H1-DIF .0 DATA RSBE01 RSBE01.wbfs/#0
***** wit: Wiimms ISO Tool v2.10a r4118 cygwin - Dirk Clemens - 2012-10-10 *****
!H1-DIF .0 DATA RXXE4Q RXXE4Q.wbfs/#0
***** wit: Wiimms ISO Tool v2.10a r4118 cygwin - Dirk Clemens - 2012-10-10 *****
!H1-DIF .0 DATA SERE4Q SERE4Q.wbfs/#0
***** wit: Wiimms ISO Tool v2.10a r4118 cygwin - Dirk Clemens - 2012-10-10 *****
!H1-DIF .0 DATA SJXE41 SJXE41.wbfs/#0
***** wit: Wiimms ISO Tool v2.10a r4118 cygwin - Dirk Clemens - 2012-10-10 *****
!H1-DIF .0 DATA SM8E52 SM8E52.wbfs/#0
***** wit: Wiimms ISO Tool v2.10a r4118 cygwin - Dirk Clemens - 2012-10-10 *****
!H1-DIF .0 DATA SX4E01 SX4E01.wbfs/#0

All of the errors seem to be H1-DIF's (whatever that means). Wii Backup Manager then refuses to import the .wbfs files it just created stating "Invalid HD sector count. Try enabling force mode."

Has anyone had any problems similar to this in the past? I'm not sure at which point of the process the rips are getting all messed up.

I would appreciate any help you guys have to offer. My entertainment area has become rather crowded of late, and migrating the Wii disks to digital storage instead of physical would free up a lot of space.

maybe try ripping directly to a .wbfs file with some fat32 drive
that way you don't have to use a manager to move them around
less room for errors

and check the wbfs partition itself for errors with wwt

It's because your images aren't full rips.
Try setting ripping to full in usb loader gx, or use cfg loader.
even better use cleanrip.
Also these could be indications your wbfs formatted drives as the wbfs bug, game slots corruption.
In other words games are ripped partially into seperate slots. NOTE this is a BAD bug and could render your drive unusable in the future.
Look into these threads for a conversion program to get your wbfs drive into a fat32 partitioned one, in just a few seconds. Look at above posters signature.

AND YES USE FAT32.

I support the cleanrip+FAT32 suggestion. Never had a problem ripping a bunch of games with it, single layer or dual.
