I just received a 16GB SDHC card that I bought online (there's also a 4 on it, so I'm assuming it's a class 4), and when I add games and load it up (using the latest AKAIO), only like 2-3 games show up while the rest are "DS PROGRAM FILE"s.

Anyone know what's wrong?

First format the card with the Panasonic SD formatter.

Then you need to check the card isn't fake and reporting a false capacity. Create a directory with 16GB of files on your Harddisk, download a program called quickpar and create a parity file of those files. Copy the 16GB of iles and the parity files to the MicroSd card, then use the parity file to verify they 100% readable.

If that doesn't work, try another card reader.

Yeah, pretty much.

You drag the files into the window above the add button, and then click create. Lower the redudancy % to reduce the creation time.

When they show up as ds program files it usually means the rom is corrupt
I had this problem on some of my games just get a fresh rom of each

The ROMs are fine because they work on my 2gig card, and some of them randomly work on the 16, I'm doing the QuickPar right now.

*QuickPar reports nothing wrong, trying different card reader...

**Nothing worked =[

And the first 2-3 files I add are the ones I can play, the rest are DS program files.

i bought a 8gb sandisk microsdhc card(already PREformatted to fat32) from bestbuy.ca for 29.99 cdn + taxes and it works awesome with the acecard 2i + my dsi XL, its much faster loading/reading the roms/games then my 4gb patriot class 6

i guess the tradeoff in READ times = slow write times when u need to put data or games onto the card

when i copy files to the 8gb sandisk card its speed is only 7Mb/s but the 4gb patriot is around 15Mb/s

has anyone tried those speedy ultra III sandisk cards?

It really sounds like you have corrupt roms or something really wrong with your SD card...

The ROMs work perfect with my 2gig, all of them, so I guess it IS the SD card...sigh.

Well, it came with a year warranty

.

I'm using this http://www.discountcell.com/cellular/images/SDC2-16GB.jpg

Except it's a class 4.

*Nobody knows? Do I have no other choice but to replace it? =[
