^I encountered the exact same issue. At first I thought something went wrong with the HBC or bootmii install, but also realised I installed an MP9 channel right after, which once uninstalled fixed the black screen. I also made a topic asking about the wii mote fix a while ago, with people being skeptical of a solution. Glad there is one now though
