Official PAL eboot is broken since time immemorial, I think sony only tested it on PS3. There it works…Dw, that's fine. Anyway, I'll see what the problem may be and hit you up if I solve it, okay?

So, @Fabax01, does the official eboot play the guitar sound for you? Just tested it and it doesn't.
I edited the config to not cut off the lower half of the screen, but the guitar sound is somewhat scratchy. Feel free to test it, but I'll see what else can be done to improve it .

Talking about “scratchy” sound, it reminds me of something…
castlevania (the sharp 68k port)
NTSC version works (official eboot), PAL version has really bad audio issues (I tested a long time ago, I don’t know if the official NTSC config does fix this.)
