Dw, that's fine. Anyway, I'll see what the problem may be and hit you up if I solve it, okay?

So, @Fabax01, does the official eboot play the guitar sound for you? Just tested it and it doesn't.
I edited the config to not cut off the lower half of the screen, but the guitar sound is somewhat scratchy. Feel free to test it, but I'll see what else can be done to improve it :).

Code:
70 00 07 06 00 00 06 06 00 01 00 20 FF FF FF FF
FF FF FF FF 02 00 00 00 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF

Official PAL eboot is broken since time immemorial, I think sony only tested it on PS3. There it works…
I wanted to try the ported config for this reason, to fix the missing guitar.
Thanks a lot!

P.S.
Talking about “scratchy” sound, it reminds me of something…
castlevania (the sharp 68k port)
NTSC version works (official eboot), PAL version has really bad audio issues (I tested a long time ago, I don’t know if the official NTSC config does fix this.)

Hello, I'm at work now, but earlier I tested the Motocross 2001 game a little more and I noticed that the FPS is varying between normal and an unexpected acceleration a few times during the race, it even seems like the nitrous is suddenly turned on lol .. RollCage 2 and DUCATI I think are already good.. Motocross 2001 I think will need the value 0x07 in 0x00 to correct the boost effect. If you want to test it first, I'd be grateful, if it doesn't work I'll test it as soon as I get back. hugs friends.

EDIT: I edited the Championship Motocross 2001 featuring Ricky Carmichael config, now it looks much better.

Neat, did you add cmd 0x05 or use cmd 0x00?
0x00 left the sound very bad and the game was choking, so I used 0x0A, the game was still fast but without the instability, I liked how it turned out, but in fact I only applied 0x05 now and it seemed to be the normal speed compared to the emulation of the game I tested.

I take it you mean Castlevania Chronicles? I see no reason to play the PAL release if it only has english as a language, you'd be better off playing the NTSC one. Besides, there is no config in the official eboot either, so it's somewhat odd, perhaps related to the 50hz speed against the 60hz.
I can try and determine the issue, but that'd be later on...

I see… sorry, I tought that maybe the issue would be similar in nature to that of lammy - I was mistaken.
I prefer a full pal set, like the games I own, with 50hz slowdown - so don’t worry / bother about it! I know that I am in the minority

Don't think of it like that. If possible, no game is left behind. There may be a few games that won't work under any circumstance, but otherwise, a fix can be made.

About UnJammer Lammy, I have also tested the official EUR PSN eboot and it does not work correctly, I think it is due to a different type of protection than libcrypt that even Sony forgot to skip, I am almost sure that on the console copy World page where old ppf patches were archived, there was also one for Lammy EUR.

The American PSN version works but like Parappa the Rapper they have severe input lag that makes them unplayable.

Have you found a configuration for Pop Fe for this problem?

Nope. Those two games are still using their preset config from the internal table.
Thankfully there's a PSP port for PaRappa, but Lammy still needs a proper fix in this case.

In the PSP port of Parappa I also notice some lag when playing at least on Vita adrenaline, unfortunately my old PSP no longer works.

By the way, the rhythm games Bust a Groove (Bust a Move JP), Do you know if they are playable in adrenaline or do they also have severe input lag?

From what I know, Bust a Groove desyncs when playing for a while, so that one is bad too :(. Problem may be related to some slowdown that shows in a few levels. Perhaps some vblank settings can help with this series of games?

Hi, it would be amazing if you could reupload or send me the file for Dragon Valor !
I tried to run it on the vita using the JP region, but still got bugs.

Thanks a lot in advance.
Hello, what problems have you still encountered?

He mentioned JP. Pop-fe only has configs for PAL and NTSC-U for that game.
I was wondering if he tried a JP region ID injection, if he just changed the header to JP or if he actually found problems in the Japanese version of the game, which I find strange, since some friends have already told me to finish the Japanese version without problems.

Another strange thing is Digimon World 3 JP. The game works very well on POPs, while the US and EU versions have several problems that I could only resolve with a custom CONFIG.

I wonder if the Japanese Digimon 3, even without being officially released on PSN, does not activate some type of particular CONFIG in POPs. However, applying GAMEID JP to other versions does not work.

The NTSC-J version works fine without a config though, just tested it. It has some setting in the POPS internal table already, and as such the PAL and NTSC-U configs are based off of that.

Perhaps they simply patched the game for JP region and didn't change the ID?

Or maybe the translation to other languages messed up the instructions or memory adresses in a way the original JP version didn't. The main thing the settings you made do is analyze a bigger chunk of memory and take a course of action based on the results.

True, this makes perfect sense, probably changes in memory instructions, this is quite common with unofficial translations.

@Xdqwerty, wire is definitely more practical IMO. Hell these days you can charge a laptop over USB, can't charge a laptop wirelessly though. Wireless chargers, even "fast" ones, are only good for slowly charging devices, plus they generate a good amount of heat too

Power banks can be incredible depending on your needs. 1) I have a 100w capable one that can charge my laptop. 2) Same one can also power my soldering iron (though is overkill for it) 3) a BIG power bank I have with an AC outlet on it can power my desktop weed vape during a power outage :rofl2:
