You can use it to play mind games on the other team with some other counter to talonflame.
If you can get something that can hit hard with priority and take a hit (something like Sword Dance Aegislash with SS) you have a solid chance.
Couple that with SR and that bird is going down HARD

Ahhhh, that's very true. The bird only has priority on flying. Flare Blitz would be super effective but would go second. Aegis could sword dance before the switch and then sneak it. Also immune to power up punch and won't get hit with sucker punch if it's just sword dancing. There's a rare kangas with crunch but not all do it. That's another really popular mon though. Feels treacherous turning to it for help.

Popular, and for a good reason. I had my eyes on aegislash since the moment I saw it's ability and insane stats.
Even doublade with eviolte is a pretty decent physical wall, although it's hard to argue with king's shield
Might be one of my favorites this gen, together with greninja and some of the megas (well, some of them are just plan cool enough for me to enjoy regardless of stats )

I do like ferbrothorn. And he'd fit right in on my team. Thanks, maybe I'll swap meowstic if the opponent looks weak on status users.

The issue there though is that while it's great for screwing azumarril and kangas it's going to get murdered hard by the bird.

Stealth rock reduces Talonflame's HP by 50% percent due to double weakness to rock.
Considering aegislash has also priority with king shield. It would make talonflame losing atk and spa on contact, using brave bird.

Ah! I just got a shiny heatproof Bronzor! That could work too. It's weak to dark now but it can't get suckerpunch'd if it doesn't attack. Toxic, wall-off, bleed them out.

well i think they are the same story as genesecht in b/w. they are just rumour pokemon (according to big N) and for the time being the are not "real" but after a while they will be released

btw diancie is boss, volcanion looks like the mega evo of heatran and hoopa? sigh..

In your 3DS home menu, tap the little orange face icon in the top row of your touch screen.
Next, go over to your own card with the analog stick, your 3DS's friendcode is at the bottom of the card.
3DS doesn't do game-specific friendcodes anymore, you just exchange your 3DS friendcode with people you wanna battle/trade with
