Map looks more linear now.
They hid some stuff, like battle frontier and sky pillar, but southern island remains.
Also notice that black mass on the top of the map?
Maybe that's a meteor.

Perhaps Granite Cave?
I noticed there's a meteor in both ruin photos.
Maybe the Meteor is a "sign", or the origin of the Omega/Alpha orbs (if it ain't the Red/Blue orb).
Maybe even Jirachi cross-in?
I think the old map looked more natural, more continent-like.
I feel like the purpose of the new map is to give us a feel of the game which is why it is more linear compared to the old one which shows how it would look "realistically".

Don't get why they didn't block southern island, as it's also an area to encounter legendary.
I liked marts being together with PCs T.T

Those clouds are definetly to hide some stuff, I could see the Battle Tower, Rayquaza, and new areas been shown later on the places covered by clouds.

One thing I really likedd on XY was the possibility to customize your character,
now that this is a remake I'm not certain if it will be includede, but the only thing I can ddo is hope.
Although I'm fine with Brendan appearence, for me he is the coolest main character of the Pokémon games,
I also like him because he is a bit different from the the stereotype of the main character of pokémon games.

I have double feelings about Primal Groundon been Ground/Fire,
now his ability will be more helpful, and he will have stab in Earthquake and fire moves(hopefully he gets something better than fire punch),
but it's gonna be beaten really hard by water type moves.

My birthday is on November 21st, so it's a shame it comes out a week later in Europe. Still very happy that they're still doing global releases.
