Okay guys do you want me to upload my progress so far? (Version 0.1) i've completed up until the first gym (Including battle) + Gym leader's battles up until Erica.
I've added version 0.1 download to the front page. Please note the following:
- Leaf (Heroine) has not been inserted yet, please pick the male for now.
- No in-battle sprites have been edited yet. This means the heros backsprite is not edited and the rivals Mugshot has not been edited yet either.
- Ignore the second "Tree that needs cut down" on route 2, it was just a scripting test ;P (It won't block your journey)
- Talk to all Npcs in viridian and pewter city, then let me know if any of them gives you running shoes.
- Some Npc's text still needs edited.

Bug report time!
When the player runs out of pokemon, but it happens before he reaches a Pokemon center he gets sent to his actual house in New Bark town where the beginning script starts (getting your bag, buttons, etc etc).

Sorry I decided to just let everybody have a chance to see how the hack is progressing. In the end I decided to make my own boxarts to use (For the time being)

I play pokemon since the 1st game, and beaten fire red like 5 or 6 times.. so i know almost everyting there is to know about fire red.

Well I think for now you could set a warp point like you did in the beginning, and could you not just disable the script that starts when you are supposed to walk downstairs in New Bark? Then after your Pokemon get healed at the original house the script wouldn't start, when you exit the house you can set it so the warp point is outside the house at Pallet Town. Or could you just change the warp when your Pokemon faint to go to the outside of the Pallet Town house (until you reach a Pokemon Center, of course)? Not sure as I haven't really dabbled with Pokemon modding before. I assume this won't be too much of a problem as...well who really lets their Pokemon faint before they get to the Veridian Pokemon Center?

ALSO! bug reports!
1: in the name input screen, you still see golds sprite, not reds
2: blues sister says that her brother is the viridian gym leader when he is getting his first pokemon with you and giovanni is the viridian gym leader!

4: your rival sprite is still silvers
5: your rival still goes by the name of passerby boy
6: blue calls you red (my name was link491)
7:no healing after you beat "blue"
8you flash as gold when you put your pokemon away after healing at a pokemon center (this is because you have the sprite in the script, just remove that script part or replace the sprite, that'll fix that bug)

58 mb download? Er...OP if this is a ROM you better remove it. GBAtemp can get into trouble with this.... make it an IPS patch...
