They were coverign HALF OF THE REGION, along with random parts of the ocean and the damn paper edge of the map TO keep stuff secret.
No one said there will not be any shockfrosting. Just not the whole region obviously.

The trick for me was to go into the settings and crank up the Wiimote sensitivity to the max and it gets twitchy but you can win that way lol
