Hi

I have 2 playstation vitas, 1 from launch of the system, another i got 2nd hand. Both have a grainy sandy look to the screen, not sure if its a anti glare coat, or a oled defect due to age. I tried removing a screen protector before and the grain was still there, even after being cleaned. Can anyone check their OLED Vita, and see if they have the same issue, not really willing to take the vita apart?

Sorry its very hard to capture on camera, but on the blue background near the bottom left of the screen is the best i can get.

mine doesn't look like this. 2 vitas with the same problem, that's strange. Disable all plugins to test and try Vitabright

This is probably right.

You can quick disable your plugins by holding L1 at boot. If it looks grainy after that it's probably not a plugin. After a restart your plugins will be enabled again (don't hold L1)

The resolution on the vita isn't that impressive 960 × 544 @ 220 ppi, camera angles can look grainy.
