so theres no difference between using the pinouts on the emmumc or using the ones on the board? just a matter of prefference.

did u reboot?
Do you see the firmware version installed on the rp2040 from the pikofly toolbox on your switch modded with rp2040?

I did everything but when I try booting it the led:
Blue/pink then nothing and then stay on blue, there isn't any sign of life from the switch so what did i do wrong?

Btw the 3.3v resistor got off and i put it back so that's maybe an issue?
Shot a photo, only this we can help you.

It's blue for 3 seconds, then pink for 0.2 seconds.
Then usually stays on blue

Btw I used a mosfet and the wires are under the thermal paste and tape

I connected everything on the emmc board and connected 3v and gnd to the resistors on the second picture

I don't have an idea why it's written 5•3 on the switch..

my RP2040-Zero was flashed with 2.5 when it was installed. i now see a video on youtube of someone using the hwyfly toolbox to update from 2.5fw on the rp2040 zero to 2.6.1. i was under the assumption this is not posssible as the firmware only gained the ablity to update via the toolbox in 2.6 so is this video complete BS or if i follow the video correctly will it actrually update the fw on my picofly correctly

There's a rumor going around that the author of PicoFly just got served papers. Does anyone know if there's any truth to that?

This time it got blue for 3 seconds, then cyan for 0.5 seconds.
Then usually stays on blue
Before it was pink in place of cyan.
Do that means that i have a bad cpu / clock ?

Add more thermal paste

I'm sorry to ask but can this be done with a regular rpi pico ? I can't figure out the rgb mode the standard unit boots with a green light and then goes out so I try to bridge gp pins 25 and ground but I'm not getting an led color change nit matter what I try

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
