I am wanting to get my physical library on my 3DS digitally. I started last night with Bravely Default. I was first going to download from hShop but forgot how slow that process is (it was struggling to get up to 1 Mbps). Then I remembered I can just install the image from the cart using GodMode9. I cancelled the download and started the image install, but good lordy that took over 35 minutes.
What is your preferred method of transferring your physical library? Do you just download from hShop? Then user checkpoint to restore the save? I feel like that would be faster.
