I intentionally avoided the megaten wiki for that exact reason, even if I wanted to look up info for another game in the franchise. But that's not the only problem.

Personally I think some people care too much about people spoiling things. It's just another stupid reason to get upset over trivial things like the climax of a movie/tvshow/book/videogame.

Fuck talk about first world problems. Now I'm imagining GoT fans being shut-ins because they are a season behind and don't want to listen to people talking about it.

Why is it such a big deal for people to care about encountering spoilers out in the wild? People shouldn't have to tiptoe around just because they're a day/week behind on a game, show, or movie. What if they came out with a true sequel to FFVII and when you buy the game at a store the cashier says "Oh man, wait until you see Aeris being brought back from the dead and then killing Tifa because she was jealous of her relationship with Cloud." Or, replace that game with anything you're particularly fond of. I find it hard to believe that there's no spoiler that would upset you.

Atlus US is already trying to distance itself from the issue claiming the Japanese "masters" are calling the shots. Pathetic.

But Atlus showing cracks might suggest a reverse all of policy at some point.

Problem is they know copyright strikes can cause stream downtime and that can end a career for some streamers, by the time a counter DMCA is sorted Atlus has already gotten their way.

Just got the game yesterday. I honestly care more about the game play then the story. First one the series i have played. Honestly thought it was one of those crappy dating sims for those without a life, based on how it is titled. Once i learned it was a turned based rpg and the combat menus were basically ripped from mario rpg, i went and bought it. But i see how the story is a big part of the game. many people don't want spoilers posted on the largest video game based streaming site and app.

I'd be pretty darn skeptical as well. But heck, it happened. Obviously you're missing the point, but it seems like everyone here is stuck in their own echo chamber so I guess I should stop trying to win people over with facts and logic.
