What other perks would you suggest within reason that we could give our patrons? What would you like to get for supporting the site?

Why vote if there's no guarantee though?

Making it a guarantee would mean that someone would have to undertake reviewing the most voted games even though they personally may have literally no interest in said games/content. By giving us input on what games/other content people would like to have reviewed we could potentially prioritize certain reviews while still allowing for some personal preferences among reviewers to be taken into consideration.

Seeing as we get quite a few review codes I think it could be fun if patreons could vote for which they'd like reviewed the most. Not that the most voted ones would necessarily be the ones reviewed, but it could provide for some nice input on what supporters of the site would like to see.

GBAtemp: Sick of raging over Tom's 7/10 Zelda score? Fear not! Pay us a small monthly fee and we will force a member of the magstaff to re-review it as a 11/10!

I do really like this idea, though I feel like most of the votes will be for Nintendo stuff that'll already be reviewed anyways? In addition, maybe they could vote what game they'd like to see as a GBAtemp Recommends, as well?

The reviewer pool is always open to those who take the time to submit reviews from what I've seen. If you want to help, by all means post your own reviews in the User Submitted Reviews.

I plan to finalise the dark theme at some point and add an option for OLED screens that uses much more pure black.

It's also worth adding a good majority of patrons won't be local to the event, and funding travel would bring the price up a heck of a lot more.

Voting is fun.
How about voting for a (retro) game to be played by our lovely streamers? Like once a month, or more often if it becomes a thing. People could *force* the streamer to play a shitty game for a set amount of time (or to completion)... People like to punish people..
But then again, maybe that would be better to have EVERYONE vote for that...

Hotels in California are also heavily jacked up during the event. Though I'd like to meet up with some Tempers at E3 next time, it's way too expensive and problem ridden as a prize. Plus E3 sucks for the public lol.

I'd say the Twitch is still niche enough that it'd be better to get everyone's opinion, but it is a cute idea!

I like the custom emotes idea, so long as they're not overly annoying "LI MUMUS". Can't think of much else as a perk really, a pretty Patreon banner and access to the giveaways is good enough for me.
