I want to play Golden Eye on WiiU, vWii is hacked.
Can I inject my backup for use on VC WiiU, or is Wii64 my best bet? Any other options?
Cheers!

Well there's Wii64 on vWii (And N64 VC on vWii
Then there's N64 VC on Wii U (+ possible injects)
Then there's Loadiine which can play injects easily

loadiine would be a great simple option. Not sure about Goldeneye though since I never played it.

Unless you want graphical issues, distorted sound and lags, then inject into Wii U VC.
If you don't, use Not64 in vWii.

The OP does say what's the best way to play N64 games. A real N64 is imo, as does with everything else, because nothing beats the original system.

i have to disagree, i have a original n64 and an hd tv and yeah compat is 100% but the games that are not expansion pack enhanced look like crap unless you have room to have a crt tv in your room, i dont unfortunely my room is already way too full so i prefer to mantain my hd tv that i also use for ps3,ps4,wiiu,switch and i also have ps2,xbox connected along with the n64.

im still waiting on that day that someone releases a system that can read n64 carts and play them in hd even if its an emulation thing like retron5, im waiting for the retron n64 capable someday.
