So, it was inevitable really - once the games were dumped, and it was known they were playable on most major ROM playback cards, then there was gonna be an influx of threads relating either ROM problems or the games.

How's about just one single thread (possible sticky?) for discussing your goings on in the game, any help you might need either regarding the game or ROM playback? Keeps things more tidy, dontcha think?

Perhaps mods can move existing threads into this one or something, to de-clutter.

I don't know if anyone else has had a similar thought/thinks its a good idea but I think it should help to reduce the generic "OMG HELP" and "OMG MY POKEYMANS! LET ME SHOW YOU THEM!" threads, yes?

Anyway, to get the ball rolling so to speak, my current Diamond progress:

Just beaten first gym leader:

Lv. 12 Shinx (M)
Lv. 16 Prinplup (M)
Lv. 13 Starly (M)
Lv. 13 Abra (M)
Lv. 3 Bidoof (M) (

I'm at the second Gym already with

Lv.21 Prinplup
Lv.18 Staravia
Lv. 18 Luxio
Lv. 6 Machop (Rock Smash slave)

I'm gonna get a Budew for Cut slave and I'm using the enter battle with secondary then switching to my starter strategy.

God, I need the Exp.Share....

Just arrived at the city with the second gym with:

Monferno - lvl 23
Luxio - lvl 19
Geodude - lvl 18

Seems to be a pretty good combo though I'll probably have to catch something to act as a cut slave.

Going to the 3rd Gym with:
Monferno - lvl 24
Staravia - lvl 24
Budew - lvl 24
Buizel - lvl 24

But believe me, when you meet the 3rd gym leader's ultimate pokemon without a pokemon that has moves to beat a fighting/steel type, killing that pokemon is almost impossible.

Try to jack up your team to Level 30 at least then.
