Still getting the error. Can someone PM me and tell me what they think I am doing wrong. I formatted it with the formatter, I patched the rom and i started the game and i keep gettign the cannot read file restart console error. Acekard 2i 1.8.9z and everything

Do you have the most recent loaders from a few months ago

I have everything needed to run any other game perfectly except this one.

THIS. THIS. 100 TIMES THIS. The AKAIO forum post labeled 1.8.9z is NOT the same thing as the loaders. Go to http://akaio.net/loaders/ (not sure if I'm allowed to post links here, I'm new here. If not I'll edit this post) and replace the "1.8.9z loader" with this one. I can confirm, having followed all the other steps correctly and getting errors up until this point, that this is what will fix the error for Acekard 2i users.

I think it should be clarified on the front page that you need to download from the loaders page rather than AKAIO 1.8.9z post on their forums. While it should have the same loader, there's obviously a difference between the full install and the loader-only download.

Whenever I use the Discatia patch I get an "FAT error" when I try to load the game. There is nothing wrong with the microSD card and I can load other games fine. I get the white screen on a clean file.

No matter what I try I cannot get my R4 to even run the wood kernel. If someone who has an R4i 3DS could PM me help on how to get this to work, maybe even PM me their loader files, because apparently all the ones I try don't work, that would be appreciated.

So, you know, actually playing the game, I gotta say, it's fun for a strategy title (since I generally never enjoy them). I have some minor complaints:
- Holy hell, you really can't grind at all. It's pretty much get better warriors, and forget the old ones/turn them into warrior hunters and gold farmers.

- The linking thing was explained somewhat poorly. I still don't entirely understand how I'm supposed to get a wild Pokemon to join me, or why certain wild Pokemon don't get any symbols above their heads for some of my warriors. I'd guess they only have a capacity of one or something, but I don't particularly know how to check that either.

- Along with not really being able to grind, I'm at the point where there's only Kenshin's and that other guy's kingdom to worry about. As I can't grind, I don't even dare try to fight the other guy, and Kenshin's battle is bullshit, since I can defeat all of his warriors, but his Pokemon just camps on the last flag as I have absolutely nothing super effective against psychic types. I essentially do 14 damage, he heals 10 off of the flag, and I did maybe 4 net damage to a 110+ HP bar. Pretty bullshit battle, since, like I said, can't grind absolutely anywhere. Not to mention about 50% of my attacks never even connect with Kenshin's Pokemon because of that damned parry ability, as well as my accuracy falling for no apparent reason.

- Besides that, what was with that warning of other kingdoms potentially invading yours? The only time that happened to me, it was actually part of the campaign. Seems like they simply did a fantastic job of leading you on. Or perhaps that's something that comes in later. Regardless, getting a warning for something that doesn't apparently matter is just off.

I'll probably figure out ways around my complaints at some point, but for now, I'd rather just play Animal Crossing and call it a day when it comes to Pokemon.

Does anyone know why the ENG version won't read my Japanese save file, even though they're named the same thing?

Because they are two different games. It's like trying to get a save file from a Zelda game to work with a Mario game. It just won't work I'm afraid.

They're the same game. Even with a Japanese Black, you could rename it and use it on English White.

They're the same game. Even with a Japanese Black, you could rename it and use it on English White.

Though with errors.

It worked best if you used the same version of the game in both languages instead of switching from one version to another.
