Hacking Nothing running on new EZ-Flash IV

I just bought an EZ-Flash IV, and nothing works. Super Mario Advance 4: SMB3 shows a white screen, while Pokemon LeafGreen shows a white screen AND static comes out of the speaker. What gives?
