Hello again Tempers, this old popular feature is back and this time...maybe regular like it was before. The main reason for its return is that its a damn fine month for Nintendo handheld gamers not only does the DS have one fuck of a good line up we also see the debut of the 3DS in the West! Such a shame that the Wii, which last year was rocking so hard has such a poor month.

I've missed many releases mainly because they are not worth writing up but if you do feel that a game should be written then please feel free to add to the thread.

At the moment I am not covering none English releases but feel free to write them yourself.

<!--coloro:#9932CC--><span style="color:#9932CC"><!--/coloro--><u>Read to know when a game could be dumped</u>:
These dates are what retailers say is out unless stated otherwise, sometimes they make dates up for pre-ordering purposes. These dates could also be "shipping dates" which usually means that that's the date when games get shipped to stores so a game could either be in stores on that day or after. Some games may get delayed some others not listed may appear but at the moment of posting these are correct. Release date isn't always the store date so don't expect a game on the date, also even if a game is in stores don't expect a dump unless you're the mthrfckr who dumps it.<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc-->

<u><b>Released:</b></u> March 22nd (US) March 25th (Europe) <u><b>Genre:</b></u> Hack and slash-me-do?
<u><b>Developer:</b></u> Traveller's Tales <u><b>Publisher:</b></u> LucasArts
<u><b>Developers Previous Games:</b></u> Sonic 3D, Puggsy, Bionicle Heroes, The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest and some LEGO games.

Another same same LEGO title only this time its the 3rd in the Star Wars LEGO series. Expect the same old gameplay only with a Clone Wars skin...meh.

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars will include all the characters from both seasons of the hugely popular animated television series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, as well as some fan-favorite characters from the beloved theatrical Star Wars Saga. The game will feature brand new battle modes, giving players unique, head-to-head combat and an upgraded level builder, allowing the creation of customized bases and in-game battlefields. Play either as a Jedi or Separatist with all-new character abilities, such as Squad command, Lightsaber slicing, Lightsaber jumps, long distance Jedi attacks and Grapple Tie-Ups, all within a new, easy-to-navigate hub.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

I dunno what else to say. Note: Media is probably not of the Wii version but its all I can find but chances are the gameplay would be pretty much the same and the graphics won't look that much worse.

<u><b>Does the Temp want it?:</b></u> People may try it <u><b>Do I Want it?:</b></u> Not unless there are mutants...oh wait...

Immature boys with repressed feelings get ready for your game! Actually the game is said to be more like the old school arcadey games but maybe a little deeper. The developer is actually made from some of Midway who specialise in fighting games. Saying that this is the Wii version, and most developers don't get much time to do a good version.

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->The revolutionary new addition to THQ’s distinguished WWE videogame portfolio and debut release from the company’s San Diego-based studio, WWE All Stars will bridge generations of WWE enthusiasts and casual followers alike with a fun, fresh and fast-paced experience inside the virtual ring.

• FANTASY WARFARE – Setting up the notion that the greatest matchups in WWE history may not have happened yet, Fantasy Warfare will see players pick a side – WWE Legends or WWE Superstars – and compete in a series of fantasy matches that pit WWE talent with similar personal or physical attributes against one another to see who is the greatest of all time. Informative and engaging video packages will set up each of the pairings and match objectives.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Holy shitting Christ! Have you seen these screens? Its like they made it for N64 and put it through a plug-in that makes the game looks slightly better. I'm really disappointed with THQ with these screens, not because the game looks like crap but because there aren't any screens suggestive enough for sad people like me to make fun of. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/frown.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="frown.gif" />

As shit as it looks there is meant to be DLC which I guess is nice. I'd show some video footage but there isn't any of the Wii version and I'd hate to make you girls cry.

Well Mr Woods looks like you still got your name on SOMETHING though you're face has now vanished from its box...I hope that skanky sex was worth it. I reckon the next game will just be called PGA Tour 13. There is something C64 about that boxart me thinks. <!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->For the first time in the history of this award-winning sports franchise, players are able to step onto the hallowed grounds of Augusta National, experience the rich history and tradition of the Masters Tournament and begin their own journey to capture the most sought-after prize in professional golf -- the Green Jacket.

Masters Moments — Play through memorable, historic moments as players try to measure up against some of the sport's greatest legends. Tiger at the Masters — Relive each of Tiger's four wins at the Masters by attempting to equal or beat his scores in each round of the Tournament.
The Caddie Experience — Behind every great golfer is a trusted and reliable caddie. Players will have a caddie by their side on every swing, providing strategic advice, from shot selection to reading greens, helping them become a more successful golfer.
The Closest Thing to Being There — For the first time ever, EA Sports utilized a new state-of-the art laser scanning technology at Augusta National Golf Club to laser scan every hole featured in the game. This will provide players with the most authentic digital representation of the Tournament and Par 3 courses. Every tree, every azalea and every undulation in every green was recreated down to the smallest detail.
Broadcast Presentation — Feel the emotion of every swing as called by the all-new commentary team of Jim Nantz and David Feherty, who headline a completely revamped TV broadcast presentation package.
Career Mode — The all-new career mode will closely mirror the journey of an amateur golfer's rise through the ranks and chase the title of Masters champion.
New Players — Over 20 professional golfers to choose from, including Zach Johnson (2007 Masters Champion) and Bubba Watson (2010 Ryder Cup — Team USA).
Championship Courses — Take on the best of the best on sixteen of the world's most celebrated courses, including Augusta National Golf Club, Royal Melbourne Golf Club (Australia), Atlanta Athletic Club, TPC San Antonio, St Andrews Links and Pebble Beach Golf Links.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

The Wii version of the games have been the best, they work so damn well. This has a lot going for it, there seems to be a bigger step up from 11 to 12 and what with the Wii versions selling well you can trust EA not to just shit this out. Also prepare to dust off your Balance Board as this game supports it!

Again video is of the other versions. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/frown.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="frown.gif" />

There are many other Wii titles due but nothing to write about. If you're really interested check out the release lists or Gamefaqs though GF is quite bad for release lists at time.

A new gen and you still can't walk fucking diagonally. To me it doesn't look like a huge step up from the last but hey these games have never been about looks and I'm sure you buggers will lap this up again after playing the translated one. The new Pokemon look fucking stupid though, maybe Game Freak need to get some new blood in to design them.

Its been a while since I last played a Pokemon title to the end, I think gold/Silver GBC, the rest I just couldn't be bothered including the remakes of Gold/Silver. I fiddled with the Japanese versions of this but not much to get an impression. Still I'll play it, other than playing Ghost Trick I've neglected my DS somewhat of late.

Oh Capcom thank you so much for giving this series another go! Ok those Sony bastard owners didn't give it a shot but it did a better on the Wii so thank you for the DS sequel.

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Taking place a few months after the events of Ōkami, Ōkamiden will follow the adventures of Chibiterasu – a young sun god who is summoned to protect the land. Following in the footsteps of Amaterasu, the sun-god-turned-wolf in Ōkami, Chibiterasu takes the form of an adorable wolf pup for the mission ahead. Chibiterasu will join forces with a rich cast of characters to fight off a new threat that has once more leeched the world of its vibrant colour. Beyond the battles, Chibiterasu and the partners you meet along the way will come to realize their inner potential and accept the kinship that comes with being the children of great heroes and gods.

Using the DS stylus, players will wield the Celestial Brush controlled by Chibiterasu. This powerful tool can attack enemies, paint helpful objects and structures into existence, and help Chibiterasu perform exceptional feats that will change the world before the player’s eyes. Chibiterasu’s partners in the game will have unique abilities of their own that help the player conquer puzzles and face an onslaught of perilous challenges. By blending vivid myth, artistic action and the innovative Nintendo DS, Ōkamiden has all the makings of a handheld classic. Ōkamiden takes the best elements of the Ōkami series and combines them with invigorating new features delivering an extraordinary adventure sure to please fans of the series and newcomers alike.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Ok the original developers are no longer with the series but are still making great games for Sega BUT it looks great (in motion), plays great (from what I've played of the J version) and scores are excellent for it! My only complaint is that the boxart is nowhere near as good as the Japanese boxart. I really hope you gamers give this a chance, please buy it if you like it so Capcom will bless us with a new entry.

Again no media of the DS version, they seem more focused on the other versions and the 3DS one...shame really as this one will sell!

<u><b>Released:</b></u> March 22nd (US) March 18th (Europe) <u><b>Genre:</b></u> platform-me-do!
<u><b>Developer:</b></u> DreamRift <u><b>Publisher:</b></u> Majesco Games
<u><b>Developers Previous Games:</b></u> New developer but main team did Henry Hatsworth and the Puzzling Adventure!
<u><b>Does the Temp want it?:</b></u> They should, it looks great! <u><b>Do I Want it?:</b></u> I want this a lot, I'd pre-order it if it had a Europe release!

This is my most anticipated DS title of the year! I fucking loved Henry Hatsworth and the Puzzling Adventure and this is the next game from the folks that made it and again its a platformer that crossovers to another genre, this time erm pet monster genre with a MetroidVania feel!

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->A group of nasty kids have snuck into a secret world inhabited by monsters and enslaved them as their pets. This ragtag pack of kids is using the monsters to do all sorts of selfish, destructive things that will ultimately result in the downfall of the Monster World. That is, until little Ellie discovers the Monster World and befriends a mysterious young monster named Chomp. This dynamic duo sets out on a fantastic adventure where our Monster Tale begins.

Players control both Ellie and Chomp as they explore and battle through five non-linear kingdoms in the Monster World, including the Wicked Treehouse, Monster Express Train, Ancient Ruins and Monster Nightclub. The Touch Screen serves as Chomp’s Pet Sanctuary where he evolves with new abilities as he eats and plays with what Ellie provides from the top screen or buys for him in the store. But when Ellie needs some brute force or protective defense, she can summon Chomp to the top screen to back her up in her quest to save the Monster World.

As Chomp gains new attributes he can evolve into approximately 30 unique forms with new attacks, shields, bombs and even the ability to transform into useful objects. Together Ellie and Chomp will take on scores of baddies that threaten to end their Monster Tale mid-adventure.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Previews have been very strong claiming that its a game that lovers of the 16 bit platformer would eat this up!

There are many other DS titles due but nothing to write about. If you're really interested check out the release lists or Gamefaqs though GF is quite bad for release lists at time. You could also try your preferred retailer wherever you are based like I have.

3DS will have its own special launch thread soon!

And yeah, it's one helluva good-looking month. Unfortunately, it might be the last good month we see for this system. 3DS is almost here, but at least DS is going out in amazing style.

Looking forward to Okamiden and Pokemon White.

Beat the Japanese version of Pokemon White but didn't have a clue what was really going on. The fan translation was pretty good but I want to play through it again with the official translation. Finally, I will know what they actually were saying and have the true names.

Why would diagonal movement make a huge difference in a turn-based RPG? I've seen people ask for this to appear in a new Pokemon game for ages, and I just don't see what the big improvement would be?

Pokemon Black / White

A new gen and you still can't walk fucking diagonally. To me it doesn't look like a huge step up from the last but hey these games have never been about looks and I'm sure you buggers will lap this up again after playing the translated one. The new Pokemon look fucking stupid though, maybe Game Freak need to get some new blood in to design them.

Care to elaborate the bold part?
Cause I'm pretty damn sure I haven't gone blind in the past few years, yet the ideas and designs look more original than they ever were.
And they should get some new people to design new pokemon? Guess what, this time they did EXACTLY that. They got 17 people for this task to get as much variety as possible...

It's always the same, actually. People saying how fucking stupid the new ones look, the only thing you didn't add was something like "gen I was the best", when from a more objective and less nostalgic viewpoint it's rather obvious that if any, gen I had lots of lacking designs, especially in the evolution department. Just saying Dx

If by original you mean taking real animals and objects, adding an elemental effect on some of them and calling it a "New Generation"... then yeah... sure, most original thing in a pokemon game till date.
/end sarcasm

The first three generations of pokemon are really good, the forth was bearable to quite some point. I'm not going to say that everything in this generation was a let down, but cmon... most of them are.

I'm just saying that the new ones are at least of the same quality as the previous 4 generations. If you feel older mons are better it's mostly because you're used to them.

I'm looking forward to Pokemon White/Black and Monster Tale. Heck, I held off on beating the translated Pokemon White just so I could buy the official one.
