Homebrew Nintendo DS on Wii?

Since I cannot search for items that are 3 characters or less, like "DS". I must ask you guys if there is a DS emulator for the Wii. I did not see one in the sticky.

I heard there was a DeSmuME for Wii in development, but I think the dev gave up.

I'm not quite sure but if there was a linux Dsemu you could run it on the linux for wii.
