Does this work for any game with the NFTR file or is it only some for now? Might come in handy for me in the future since I'm just starting out.Hoping to have it work universally, but I need people to try it out.

"Unsupported 3BPP tile format." comes up when i try to view the BrandBrosDX fonts.
Yeah, only have 1BPP and 2BPP so far since that's all I could find. Thanks for pointing out BBDX, I'll check it out.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

ÂÂÂÂ

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

hmm... the character map could not be displayed.
Please post the following message on the thread, along with the NFTR you are using.
still the Ys DS font.
I don't know what to tell you; they all work for me. Maybe you have to restart after installing the updated framework or something?

would this thing help change the font from 2byte to single byte ascii?
not for the tales of the tempest - because that doesn't use an nftr file as the font.
Well I don't think you can add the single byte ascii characters, but you can edit the english characters to half the size.

Edit:Works like a charm for me

I have some recommendations for the next versions:
Move between tiles using the arrows while in the character map.
The ability to import nftr dumps.
While using the character editor in the character map it is a little tiring to have to click for a new pixel.
It should be good to have both save (CTRL+S) and save as.

Also I'd like to report some bugs:
When you edit a tile, apply the changes and go to viewer to preview your freshly edited character an error message pops up so you have to save and load the font again to see any changes.
There was something else but I forgot.

It is really an awesome tool Darth, thank you for doing this.

the legal drinking age here in the US is 21, as some of you may know, but i think either it should be 18 or the age you're an adult should be 21.
    +2
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and i know what you may be thinking, "why become an adult at 21? doesn't that mean that banging an 18 year old would be illegal?"
first of all, being in a relationship with someone who's 18 is technically ok, as long as it started when they were 18, but the age gap is still weird depending on how old you are. besides, the age of consent differs between different states
    +1
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
also my reasoning for adult age being 21 is because the reason that's the drinking (and now smoking) age is because it "gives them more time to think rationally and not drive drunk"
so you should have that extra time to mature and think rationally before going to serve in the military or vote
    +1
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
tl;dr the "adult" age and the legal drinking age (and voting age) here in the US should be the same

It's all good no one pays attention to the law anyway lol
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
What about making kids wait till 18 or 21 to drive? And yea is messed up, you can join army and die for your country at age 18, but you can't drink alcohol or smoke a cig til 21, is ridiculous
