Any advice appreciated guys. Did think about the E8400 but won't be upgrading again for two years or more so need to be more future proof hence going for quad. Is there anything I've missed out?
Thanks

The 8800GT, switch to 9800GT or HD 4850 which is better deal for the money.

Get the E8400. Unless you do a lot of re-encoding of videos, its a much more sensible choice to get an E8400.
They have much better performance in games than q6600.

I really dislike the 900 gaming case though, I think it looks ugly.
I prefer Cooler Masters options or mayb one of Antec's more professional looking cases like the P182.

Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro; although great as a budget cooler, you will most likely be better off with one of the newer direct heatpipe contact coolers such as Xigmatek HDT-S1283 or OCZ Vendetta 2.

I'm unsure of the quality of the Arctic Cooling PSU, but 700W is overkill for a single GPU.

I recommend Corsair, PC Power & Cooling, or Silverstone.

Case is completely up to your liking, I enjoy simple cases such as P182.

4850 really isn't as good a value as most people think. Side by side in the performance charts they're pretty neck and neck (with the 4850 costing 20% more on average and running considerably hotter).

As far as 8800GT vs 9800GT, the only advantage the latter has is support for tri-SLi, so you might as well save the 20-30 bucks.
