yeh its normal
its only because 4.2 wasnt anything new it was only to try and stop piracy but it failed
edit: well thats my guess from the info ive gathered overtime as a wii hacker

i'm pretty sure 4.2 failed as piracy protection. as well as every other version until now. so why they didn't put the latest, that you "need" to install if you want, i.e., to go to shopping.

i'm just pointing out to a new variable (as i haven't seen mentioned before)

have we some other example of titles from Ninty not released with last available update?

i highly doubt that m&sWOG, has 3.2, as ninty are trying prevent homebrew, 3.2 is the baseground for homebrew to be applicable.

but another example is people in USA said that their legit copy of betles rockband had 3.2
but my AUS copy had 4.2
so im not entirely sure

well considering that the beatles rockband was released on september the 9th and system menu 4.2 came out on september the 28th, I'd say you're wrong there buddy.

well i was on 4.1 and it was asking me to update

EDIT: or it could be just an IOS update since it needs IOS 56 to run

There is no piracy check the game is no good just wait for the real thing....is it that hard to wait a few days when most of you will best it in an hour since you have nothing better to do?

If you buy it legit then cant load it on your usb drive, then the sales for legit copies will suffer, as all usb hdd owners will download the hacked version when it happens, just like when sony put the mod chip check on a few games back in the psx days
