Looks like it uses EEPROM for saving, atleast that's what GBA Header Viewer said.

Gave it a spinn, and i must say that i found it quite entertaining, from a arkanoid/breakout point of view that is.
Too bad the GBA sucks when it comes to bass, cause the soundtrack sure is pumpin. Try it out !

Was it necessary to port this game on gba ? as for lode runner, i thank god that the rom is free. But when i think to all people who will pay 30 to 50 dollars (or euro here) for this game i feel shame for the editor and programmers. I would like to punch them all for doing commercial things like that.

I prefer arkanoid on old macintosh.

this game is pretty cool. wish i could understand what the hell goes on when i power up my paddle though. sometimes the ball just moves randomly all over. weird shit, but fun =]
