Hey,
I'm thinking about buying a NES along with a Everdrive N8 but is it even possible to use the system on a modern LCD TV? Which cables do I need and does it look okay?
Also does anybody here have any experiences with the Everdrive N8? Do Gamegenie codes work well?

An RCA cable would probably be the best bet, I'd at least think since RF connections aren't as commonplace as they used to be....do RCA connections even work with NES consoles? I'd assume so anyways.

i believe, by defailt, the nes is connected though the coaxial cable (das kabel für den kabelanschluss).

my nes (and later snes) both came out of the box with a connector for only that cable (thats for germany)
but you can still buy rca connectors online.

as long as your tv has either of those, it should be able to work.

as for how it looks... its going to be very blocky on an hd tv screen, but it should be playable otherwise.

well, it does get stretched, but its not really a problem on most games. its a bit weird in zelda, when you walk left to right much faste than top to bottom, but on a game like mario it doesnt really matter
and most modern tvs should still have options to set the screen to 4:3 ratios. that should stop the stretching.

The best way to play a real NES (without mods) is a SLIMER CRT TV

An NES works fine on a modern tv but it wont work with games that require the zapper because of the light that the tv produces
