Need help with WiiU wud-to-app convertion

Hi there,

my 32gb Wiiu is successfully "hacked". Got the homebrew launcher and everything (followed Wiiu hack guide). I managed to convert my test game nintendo land EUR from wux to wud. In order to be able to play/install the wud game on my USB drive connected to the WiiU I need to convert the .wud file to .app

I try to use JWUDtool but I need a "game.key" which is obviously not the title key I use in CEMU. Also I might need a common.key...

I cannot find a game.key. I don#t know what that key should look like? Is it a txt file?

The goal is eventually to play downloaded games from external usb storage. A loader on the WiiU that starts wux/wud files directly would be perfection...but the upper way would be alright, if only I found a "game.key"

any help here?

Look into Wii U Downloader: https://github.com/Xpl0itU/WiiUDownloader

There’s also NUSSpli, which can install content that it downloads directly on the Wii U: https://github.com/V10lator/NUSspli

Make sure you have WUP Installer GX2 and an “install” folder on the root of the SD card. Game folders downloaded through Wii U Downloader can be placed in that “install” folder and then installed with WUP Installer GX2.

Thanx a lot. Which NUSSpli version would I like to install/try/use? Aroma, HBL, Channel, lite???

I followed this guide completely, but did not install Aroma yet.

Since you probably only have Tiramisu, you'd want to install the Channel version of NUSSpli. You'll need WUPInstaller to do this. You can also use the HBL version.
