need help with payloads

i dont know why but my phone is being hit or miss (usually miss) with rekado. i have all the latest updated payloads, i keep getting failed at different offsets - i googled them all, 2 where because of a bad cord but ive used the same cord this whole time, one was to do with what device i was using but the same tablet worked fine before. and one of them there was nothing about it at all, like nobodys seen it before!

i really dont know whats going on and nobody seems to have an answer, im getting really mad right now because literally nothing has changed in what im doing or the tools im using, its just not working anymmore

Most likely a cable getting worn. Worst case is you usb connectors. Things wear out. a new cable will have “stiffer” connectors. Give it a shot because it’s highly unlikely that software is causing intermittent issues like this.

i tried a couple cables, the cheap one i usually use, then the long ass one that comes with a quest VR. i eventually got it working, i think its got something to do with the last android update - thats the only thing thats changed since last time it worked consistently - and when i tried with my PC it worked fine, same dollar store cable.
maybe something in the new android update is interfering with rekado, or reset some permissions?

You removed Android and it started working? That’s wild. I can’t think of anything in Android that would do that. Not that it’s impossible…I just can’t think of any interactions.

i guess u could say i removed it, in the way that i removed it as a variable?
like i said i just gave up on trying with my tablet like i usually do it, but using PC software to send the payload worked fine right away.
my tablet updated android and thats the only thing that was different between the last time it worked, and the times before that when it did.
it MIGHT be specifically an update for tablets - thinking THAT kuz after the update, the 3 buttons that are usually in the middle (home, back, screens) got shrunk and pushed to the side, a nd my mom hasnt complained about anything like that happening on her phone

Oh jeez. I was thinking Android on Switch, my bad! That makes total sense now. Glad you have a way forward.
