need help please!!!!!! ipod touch 2g not start

hi im in a bit of a sticky situation here, i tried to re jailbreak my ipod touch 2g non mc 3.1.3 using spirit. it worked as i was told it would until after it said "restore complete". then it switched off. i try and press the power button and the apple logo appears and then disappears because the ipod switches itself off not sure what to do now. please help!!!!!!!

is it full battery, if it is then I would just plug it into Itunes and restore it, if you can?

ive just tried and it still switches off after the apple logo appears. am i doomed to have a fancy paperweight?

Turn your iPod off first off. Then connect to PC, while you plug it in, hold the home button, keep holding and don't let go until you reach recovery mode, it may take awhile but it'll eventually go, then, restore and try a rejailbreak.

Recovery mode/DFU Mode = Failsafe move for Apple, it's near impossible to completely brick an iPod
