Hi all,

I recently soft moded my PS3 with 3.55 Kmeaw custom firmware. I’m using MultiMAN 2.0 to load the games. Most the games load ok, but I have a few that don’t seem to want to work. I’m hoping someone can give me some advice on how I can get them to load.

Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice – Beeps, reboots the PS3
Fight Night Champion – Reboots to PS3 dashboard
God of War 3 – Reboots to PS3 dashboard
Heavy Rain – Black screen, can exit ok
Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds – Locks up the PS3
Little Big Planet – Reboots to PS3 dashboard
Little Big Planet 2 – Locks up the PS3
ModNation Racer – Black screen, can exit ok
Mortal Kombat – Black screen, can exit but reboots the PS3
MotorStorm Apocalypse – “An error occurred during the start (80010017)”

I have Disgaea 3 running with no problems

for Hot Shots Golf, you need to run it with Select+X, instead of X

No problems with disgaea for me either. Lil big planet 1 and 2 load fine, and mod nation works fine with select+X. Have you got a game in the drive when trying to play the games?

Btw, I can't get heavy rain working either, but that's just because it wants to update then fails to bring up the updater.

•Disgaea 3 needed (maybe it's not needed anymore, I don't now) that you download and install an update package from the debug-PSN.

I don't know if the official update is enough, you can try here :
http://www.ps3news.com/subdomain.php?pagen...;search=disgaea
(This is from the normal PSN, not the debug one).

We can't link to debug psn, you should be able to find the update yourself easily.

•Heavy rain only works on internal HDD if there's no installed Game data.
Put on internal, install the data and updates if you want, then you can put it where you want (internal or external) to play the game.

•Mortal Kombat needed the "Patch mode" on the first backup managers.
On multiMAN it's called "USB Patch", so I guess the game have to be on USB.

•Golf game, thanks dsrule, I added it to the list on the wiki.

Here is a list of games working only from USB and with the BD Mirror option (aka Select+X).

•Mod nation is another black screen game?
I'll add it to the list.

Always keep a disc in the drive, always run from the disc icon instead of the shortcut.
You can check my tutorial for multiMAN, I listed some common games error.
I don't have specific errors like the numbered errors, if someone have more information I'll add it to the list.

I don't think ModNation Racers is a black screen game, just a game that sometimes doesn't load properly. I probably don't need to use select+X, but for whatever reason that's the only way I've gotten it to work with the sound playing (it's only the second game that's given me sound troubles).
