Hacking my wii was updated by mistake now what can i do

my son friend was trying to play a game using the disc and updated to soft mod wii now it tells me that my iso 249 is a stub and i need to reinstalled it but when i go to my mmm the screen goes black and my controller powers down so what is my next step.
